Nice growth in 2016 and many new plans for 2017

The end of this year is almost upon us, how quickly it has gone. Traditionally, it's time for our look back and forward, a nice tradition that weintroduced at the end of 2013and continued in2014and which was also followed up in2015. Thisretrospectivegives you a nice insight into the history and growth of WebwinkelKeur.We start in this blog with a look back at 2016, we see if we have lived up to our plans and look back at what happened this year.

2016 - a year of growth

It was a beautiful and busy year. The growth of WebwinkelKeur continued and last month we were very proud to announce that more than 4,100 webshops have joined us. Only numbers don't say everything though, we owe our success primarily toour teamand the software we continue to develop. We do not sit still, but continuously renew and improve ourselves. All this is of course impossible without your support as a member.

Brand new sidebar

The WebwinkelKeur sidebar is something that sets us apart from our competitors; it is instantly recognizable for consumers and prevents them from leaving your store to check the trustmark or read reviews. We are also very proud of our completely redesigned sidebar. Besides looking nice, the technique is also improved. This also provides a good technical basis for the future so we can further expand the sidebar. Linking external reviews

We are very proud of our ability toalso index reviews from external sources. To our knowledge, we are the only party offering this in this way. Thus, our member page not only displays the reviews we collect ourselves, but you can also link to your reviews elsewhere. This puts an end to splintering reviews.

Completely new website

The website you are looking at now was also introduced at the beginning of this year. A very nice step because it gives us better opportunities to blog and also makes it easier to share information. Of course we will continue to refresh the website and some improvements are planned for next year as well.

Welcome Robin & Sandra

Not only the number of members grew, the staff also grew with us. Thus, this year Robin and Sandra started. A great addition toour team. However good we make our software, in the end it's the people who make an organization. So we hope with this great team to give you great customer service in 2017 as well." Uniform complaint process

With membership growth, we also face new challenges. For example, we need to manage the increase in work. That is why weintroduced a uniform complaints processthis year. With this we have a scalable process with which we can also properly support consumers in the future in dispute mediation.

Reviews from email

Goals from last year

Inlast year's blog, we outlined our goals. These included a completely new website, a multilingual package, the new phone service and a security scan. Looking back we can see that we have accomplished all these things. Of course, not everything went as we expected. For example, this year we transformed the phone service froman answering service to a PBX. Overall, however, we are very satisfied with the new services and will certainly expand them in the future.

2017

The future is difficult to predict, yet we continue to set goals. After all, without ambition there is no progress either. So we have plenty of plans for 2017, we would like to explain some of them.

Optimize processes

It sounds boring, at least if you're not a business expert. Yet a growing organization requires customer-friendly processes, which is a bit different from bureaucracy ;). To give an example, if you currently receive an unjustified review you should email us now then we can review/investigate the review. Often all sorts of information is then missing and multiple emails back-and-forth follow. With a few disputed reviews per day this is still manageable, but when you start to grow this will have to change. So this year we want to introduce a simple button with the reviews. If, in your opinion, a review is completely unjustified, you can click on it. You will then get a form in which you indicate why the review is unjustified. We will then immediately have all the information together and can deal with your request. In this way, we make it easy for our members and ensure that things remain scalable. Of course, personal service remains a priority, as we are people, not numbers.

One-click reviews

Not all customers are willing to leave a review. We therefore continue to look for ways to make leaving reviews as accessible as possible. We want to introduce one-click reviews as an optional feature. Customers can review your online store with a single mouse click, our software then ensures that the data such as order information is known immediately. The customer can also add text and subscores to his review. However, if the customer only wants to give a star rating with a single click, this is also possible.

Improve what we are already good at

Furthermore, our primary goal for 2017 is to further improve our seal of approval and our customer review tool. In our opinion, we are already the market leader in terms of capabilities, but we want to build on that position. We will therefore do our best to further improve the efficiency of WebwinkelKeur for you through all kinds of tweaks.
