More customer reviews with 'one-click reviews™'

More and more people are shopping online, and with (almost) every order, consumers receive a request to review their purchase. Because the request to leave a review happens so often, the consumer's willingness to post a review decreases. It is therefore important for each reviewer to make placing a review as accessible as possible. In the customer review system of Stichting WebwinkelKeur, this was already done by extracting customer data such as customer name, order number, email address, etc. directly from the web store software, so that the customer no longer has to enter these himself. Today with 'one-click reviews' an additional feature is added.

What are 'one-click reviews™'?

The name says it all, with one-click reviews your customer can leave a review with one click. Data such as customer name, order number and email address are imported directly from the web store software. When the customer receives an invitation to leave a review, they only have to click once on the number of stars they give to their review to post it. The only disadvantage of one-click reviews is that an explanation of the review may be missing. However, since customers still see the review form after their first click, we expect that most reviews will continue to be provided with an explanation. You, as a merchant, decide whether you want to activate one-click reviews or not. This possibility of one-click reviews can easily be set from the WebwinkelKeur dashboard. By the way, for Facebook and Google Maps reviews it has been possible for ages to give a review without explanation, so why not for your web store?

How does that work exactly?

The one-click reviews are available to anyone with a membership to the PLUS or PRO package of WebwinkelKeur Foundation. After installing WebwinkelKeur, your customers will receive an email from us asking them to review their purchase. This email has 5 buttons by default. If the customer clicks on 1 of these 5 buttons, his review is immediately saved. He or she then gets to see the form as normal to give an explanation and expand his review. If the customer decides not to do this, however, the review (the number of stars) has already been received and saved within the system. Note: normally you can submit a moderation request for a negative review. This is unfortunately not possible with a one click review because no text is added. We always review on content and without this content we cannot moderate. Therefore, we will never remove these negative one click reviews. What does a one-click review look like?

By default, one-click reviews are not displayed in the list of reviews, but they do count toward the average. You can also display one-click reviews by clicking on the filter at the top and checking "Without description". That way, reviews without description are also displayed.

How do I activate 'one-click reviews™'?

You activate one-click reviews by logging in to dashboard.webwinkelkeur.nl. Then click on Invitations and choose Settings.
