Reviews Import Reviews
Have you collected reviews from another platform? If so, you can import them into your ValuedShops dashboard. The reviews will then appear on your member page and will immediately be factored into your average rating.
Prerequisite
The reviews you import must no longer be online on the other platform. This prevents duplicate reviews. This is also important for Google.
What should be included in the CSV file?
For each review, include the following information in the file:
- the customer’s email address
- the reviewer’s name
- the date the review was posted
- the rating your online store received, on a scale of 1 to 5 or 1 to 10
- the full text of the review
If the other party doesn’t provide email addresses, look them up using the order number in your own system and include them in the CSV file.
Example
Place the column names in the first row of the file. Below that, each review should be on its own row. For example, a review might look like this:
- Email, voorbeeld@voorbeeld-domein.nl
- id, Anonymous
- publish date, 6/10/2016
- Final rating, 5.00
- Description, Very good experiences
More than 1,000 reviews
A single file can contain up to 1,000 reviews. We cannot import larger files. Do you have more reviews? Then split them into multiple files. For example, if you have 3,000 reviews, send three files of 1,000 each.
Importing product reviews
You can also import product reviews. These must no longer be available online on your own website. Name the columns in your CSV file exactly as follows:
- Product_id, the product code as it appears in your online store software
- Product_url, the link to the product, which may be useful later for Google Shopping, for example
- Product_name, the name of the product the review is about
- Rating, the product’s rating, from 1 to 5 or from 1 to 10 stars
- Review, the text of the review
- Reviewer, the name of the customer who wrote the review
- Date, the date the review was posted
You can also add these columns. They are not required.
- EAN, useful for Google Shopping, for example
- Language, the language of the review, for example, “nld” for Dutch. If you don’t fill this in, we’ll use the primary language of your online store.
We cannot import reviews without text. Please remove those from the file beforehand.
We cannot import product reviews from bol.com.

Are your reviews still online with the other platform?
If so, you cannot import them. We do have integrations with many platforms, however. Your reviews will then appear immediately on your member page, and the average will be included in your overall score. Consumers can click through to the review platform to read the reviews there.
