Reviews Change waiting time invitations
Normally, we recommend setting the wait time for sending review invitations to 5 to 7 days. In most cases, you can then assume that your customer has received the order and can give a good opinion about it.
Sometimes delivery can take longer than usual. Therefore, it may be wise to temporarily extend the waiting time slightly. That way, you prevent customers from already receiving a review request while their order is still in transit.
The way you adjust the waiting time differs per web shop software. Below we explain per link where you can find this setting.
Adjust waiting time per web shop software
Follow the steps below per platform:
- Lightspeed
1. On the left side of your screen, go to Apps > Purchased apps > ValuedShops.
2. Click on Reinstall > Approve
3. In the new screen, set the number of days until invitation - CCV Shop
1. Go to Home > My shop > Settings
2. Choose Order process & stock > ValuedShops
3. Adjust "Send invitation after how many days? - Shopify
1. On the left, click Apps > ValuedShops.
2. Scroll to 'Wait time for invitation'
3. Adjust the waiting time - Shop page
1. Go to External links > ValuedShops
2. Click on the cog icon and then on Invitations.
3. Adjust the waiting time - MyWebstore
1. Log in to the ValuedShops dashboard.
2. Go to module settings > Installation
3. Select MyWebwinkel and choose Login to our special integration
4. Go through the steps and set the number of days - WooCommerce
1. In WordPress, go to Plugins > ValuedShops > Settings.
2. Adjust the wait time for review invitations - PrestaShop
1. Click on Quick Access at the top
2. Go to Installed modules > Configure
3. Under 'Delay', enter the number of days - Afosto
1. At the top, go to Apps
2. Find ValuedShops and click Settings.
3. Adjust 'Time Delay' and click Save - Shopware
1. Go to Settings > System > Plugins
2. Open ValuedShops > Config.
3. Adjust 'Delay
Advice during busy periods
During busy periods, such as Black Friday, Sinterklaas and Christmas, we recommend temporarily increasing the wait time. For example to 7 to 10 days, depending on your average delivery time.
Send your review invitations a little later rather than too early. After all, a customer who has not yet received the order cannot yet give a good review.
