Reviews Product reviews
With our standard review system, real customers can rate your shop. These site reviews are primarily about the service of your shop and how customers experience it. In addition to these regular site reviews, we also offer product reviews! Currently, these are available for Woocommerce, Lightspeed, Shopify, Magento 2, Shopware, PrestaShop, CCV Shop and Shopfactory
Collecting product reviews is completely free.
Thus, any webshop can start receiving product reviews from real customers at no additional cost.
Product reviews can only be collected via automatic review invitations. For this it is necessary to install our app within your web shop software.
If you then also want to display these product reviews on your webshop, this is possible for the above mentioned webshop software. This requires our premium feature, which allows you to place the reviews visually on your product pages.
Also, if you want to submit the reviews to Google (so that stars are visible in search results or Google Shopping), you need this premium feature.
The benefits of product reviews
- Higher conversion.
- Stars in Google search results and in Google Shopping.
- Fewer returns.
- Automatically asking for product reviews after purchase.
1. Higher conversion.
Consumers have many uncertainties when making an online purchase. Product reviews provide social proof that a product is good and what the lesser features of a product are. This gives consumers more confidence in their purchase and increases the conversion rate of your online store.
2. Stars in search results and Google Shopping
Is someone searching for a product in Google and finds your product page? Then our product reviews ensure that stars can appear with that search result. The product's review score is taken over by Google.

Do you also advertise in Google Shopping? Then you can use our Google Feed to display the yellow stars with your products there as well.

3. Less product returns
Product reviews also mention negative features of a product; that's not a bad thing! Every consumer knows that a product also has disadvantages. By knowing these qualities, a consumer is less likely to order the wrong product and is more satisfied with his purchase. Sometimes he may even choose a more expensive product that better suits his needs.
4. Automatically asking for product reviews
At ValuedShops, collecting product reviews takes place within the normal review form. Instead of just asking for a site review, the consumer now also has the option to review his product. This way you don't have to bother him again with a separate request, which many customers find more pleasant.
Ongoing development
ValuedShops' trustmark and review system are in one package. Product reviews are an optional extra service.
Collecting product reviews is free, but if you want to display the reviews visibly on your webshop or link them to Google (for star ratings), then you use the premium feature.
You pay for this in advance, quarterly or annually, depending on the payment term of your membership. This amounts to an additional €10 per month for your account.
Currently, this premium feature is only available for WooCommerce, Lightspeed, Shopify, PrestaShop, Magento 2 and Shopware and can be activated within your ValuedShops dashboard. We hope to offer product reviews for more webshop software in the future.
How product reviews work
If you want to use product reviews, you first need to activate this extra service within your dashboard. You do this by going to > Reviews > Product reviews. Once activated, you can start collecting product reviews!
Your customers will then also get the chance to review the products they ordered within their regular review invitation.
The order of a review is as follows: a regular review first, then they will be asked to rate the ordered products. Customers can write a story under each product and give each product 1 to 5 stars. These reviews are then saved within your webshop and in your ValuedShops dashboard.

Your dashboard, webshop and Google:
When you have activated the premium feature, order data will also be requested when a review is requested. We look for a GTIN (EAN) within the order data, which is important for Google. Our plugin can sometimes detect this automatically, or you can specify where it is located yourself (e.g. in WooCommerce).

Your reviews are stored with us. You can view them as part of the webshop reviews in which they were given, as a separate review on the 'product review' tab in your dashboard or via their own review URL. On your website, the reviews will also appear. Within the dashboard you can also create a feed.
