Online store sold: what to do with your WebwinkelKeur membership?

Your online store is getting a new owner. What can you do with your WebwinkelKeur membership now? It is possible to transfer the WebwinkelKeur certification! Do you have a WebwinkelKeur account that includes multiple online stores? Or do you have an account with just one online store?

Follow the steps below, depending on the number of online stores linked to your account and whether the new owner wants to take over the WebwinkelKeur membership:

Step 1

1 I have one online store linked to my account, and the new owner wants to take over my WebwinkelKeur membership.

The easiest way is to give the new owner your login credentials to log in to the WebwinkelKeur dashboard. The new owner can then update the information in the account. The new owner can also change the login credentials and payment details afterward.

Don’t want to give your login details to the new owner? Then you can ask the new owner to sign up with WebwinkelKeur and email customer service to request that the existing account be transferred to the newly created account.

2 I have multiple online stores in my account. The new owner is taking over one online store and wants to take over my WebwinkelKeur membership.

The new owner must sign up with WebwinkelKeur and email customer service to request that the existing account be transferred to the newly created account.

3 The new owner does not want to take over my WebwinkelKeur membership.

It’s best to cancel your online store via the mobile app or the website. Be sure to check the cancellation date carefully.

Via the mobile app:

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Click on Menu, then Company and User.
  3. Select 'My Online Stores'.
  4. Click on 'Cancellation' and enter the desired date.

Via the website:

  1. Log in to your Dashboard.
  2. Click on your name in the top right corner.
  3. Select 'My online stores'.
  4. Click on 'Cancellation' and enter the desired date.

Once the cancellation has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email.

Step 2

Submit a relocation request via the WebwinkelKeur dashboard

Go to your WebwinkelKeur dashboard and easily submit a relocation request there:

  1. Click on your name in the top right corner
  2. Go to 'My Online Stores'
  3. Select 'Relocation'
  4. Fill in the requested information

It’s always a good idea for the previous owner to double-check the details after the move. If you have trouble updating the information, we can do it for you.

Step 3

Verification, validation, and approval

After receiving the transfer request, we will review and validate the information. Once everything is correct and both parties have given their approval, the certification will be transferred to the new owner. We will then contact the new owner to confirm this.

Important

Use a linked email address

Due to the risk of fraud, we only accept requests sent from an email address that can be verified as belonging to the online store. If in doubt, we may ask for additional information to confirm the authenticity of the request.
