Colleague of the month: Maud

Every month we put a colleague in the spotlight, and in January it's Maud! In this interview you will get to know her better: from what she likes most about her work at WebwinkelKeur to some surprising facts about her personal life. Read along and find out more about Maud, our enthusiastic and meticulous colleague!

What do you like most about working at WebwinkelKeur?

I like that no two days are the same here. We have our standard work, of course, but you also really get the chance to specialize here. For example, I really enjoy writing blogs, and I like studying laws and regulations. At WebwinkelKeur you are then assigned different projects, which allows you to further develop your skills. It's nice to find that there is room for personal growth. Besides the work, I really enjoy working with the colleagues here. We are all very different, but that's what makes it so much fun. We can really laugh together, but at the same time everyone is also very helpful and always ready to support each other. I really value the team and the great cooperation we have.

What is a highlight of your time here?

There are plenty of highlights, but one of the moments that really stuck with me was when I just started at WebwinkelKeur. We went to Volendam with the whole team. For me, this was a great opportunity to get to know the team better. It was quite exciting in the beginning, since I had only been employed for two days, but that tension quickly disappeared. In fact, everyone was incredibly nice and very approachable, which made me feel at ease right away.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Caring, quiet, careful

What do you like to do most in your free time?

I love to go out to dinner with girlfriends, sit on a terrace or go shopping together. In addition, I am really a makeup fan. When I am doing my makeup, that is the only time in the day when I am quiet. I also love cooking, especially Italian. Nothing is better than a delicious pasta or pizza.

What's a fun fact about you that almost no one knows?

I really have a deep love for caffeine. Whether it's a nice coffee or a refreshing Red Bull, I'm always up for it. Still, I tried to show a better version of myself by taking matcha powder to the office. Unfortunately, I didn't last more than a week, and now that jar just sits there gathering dust....

What can we wake you up at night for?

I love cheese, you can really wake me up for a good cheeseboard. A cracker with brie, truffle cheese, camembert, lordly-lie. Only mould cheese, I'd rather leave that aside.

If you were an animal, which animal would you be and why?

If I were an animal I would be a cat. I can be quite stubborn. And I am social, but also like to have some time to myself. Just like cats enjoy being with people, but also appreciate their "alone time.
