Colleague of the Month: Iryna!

Written by Kim

Meet Iryna, our newest Colleague of the Month at WebwinkelKeur! From childcare to the digital label, Iryna talks about her road to WebwinkelKeur, her favorite work moments and surprising facts that hardly anyone knows about her. Read on to find out who is behind her smile and passion for potatoes (yes, really!).

Who are you and how did you end up at WebwinkelKeur?

My name is Iryna and I'm from Ukraine. After working in childcare for two years, WebwinkelKeur came my way. To be honest, I didn't really believe I would be hired myself. After a very pleasant and pleasant job interview I walked out and thought: I would really regret it if this didn't work out. And now here I am!

Are you a morning person or an evening person? And why?

I love the atmosphere of early morning and the feeling of starting a new day. But getting up early I honestly hate it, haha. Right after getting up I don't need to have any deep conversations, it's better to leave me alone for a while then, because I'm still a bit grumpy.

What is something that hardly anyone knows about you?

I write short stories and publish them online 🙈

How do you prefer to start your workday?

I prefer to start my workday quietly: prepare everything first, without going full steam ahead right away. And of course with a nice cup of Earl Grey.

What task or activity within WebwinkelKeur do you enjoy most?

What I like most is supporting one of our members' online store to become a member, seeing our seal of approval there and then reading a lot of positive reviews.

What is your favorite food?

I love potatoes in any form: fries, mashed potatoes, boiled or baked potatoes or a nice casserole. Actually no day without potatoes!

What can we wake you up for at night?

You can wake me up in the middle of the night to tell me I can sleep a few more hours 🙂

What's still on your bucket list?

I would really like to visit Japan.

What do you think is the strength of WebwinkelKeur?

For me, the strength of WebwinkelKeur is in the commitment of all team members. Even if things are sometimes difficult, my colleagues don't just do their job, they always work with focus on the result.
