Colleague of the Month: Caleni!
This month, we turn our spotlight on Caleni, the colleague who is not only involved in everything, but also knows how to bring fun into everything. From the first day she joined WebwinkelKeur, she knew one thing for sure: we could use some atmosphere and decoration here.Since then, she has become the flying keeper within the team, always on the go, always involved and always ready to pick things up. We asked her about her best projects, the strength of our team, her hidden talent (if she has one) and of course: what guilty pleasure she has.
What was your first impression when you started at WebwinkelKeur?
Haha, well I remember that one very well. I asked my first day of work if they had only just moved in. Since it felt like they had just moved in. White walls, no decoration, no plants yet. But no, they had been there for a year. Well for those who know me, I like a bit of decoration and coziness. This is how project number 1 came about for me ;)
What does a typical workday of yours look like?
My workday is never the same. One day I'm full of meetings, another day I'm completely helping out in customer service. I feel/and am sort of a flying keeper and jack-of-all-trades. This is because I am involved in so many projects and departments. Which also makes my job fun and varied.

What is the most fun project you've worked on recently?
Noooouuuuu, then I will go for putting together the Christmas package. Every year we try to put together a personal and original Christmas package. I think that this year we succeeded again, but what exactly makes it so personal I still have to keep a secret, since the colleagues haven't received it yet. I am already looking forward to my colleagues' reactions when they open this gift 😛.
What do you think is the team's greatest strength?
Definetely the team spirit. We are mega-different types and characters, but are SO involved. Everyone helps each other move forward, thinks with each other, takes over things when necessary and shows interest. We don't say for nothing that WebwinkelKeur has a kind of family culture.
What is your hidden talent that hardly anyone knows about?
Hidden talent? I don't think I have a hidden talent. It would be a talent to keep my mouth shut for once, instead of always immediately throwing everything out.
Which celebrity would you like to trade places with for a day?
Jennifer Lopez. I used to be a fan of hers. But I am very curious about what her day looks like. Sometimes I read that she can be mega-arrogant behind the scenes and has high notes on her singing. That does make me curious what makes her day so intense then, being so demanding :P
What is your ultimate guilty pleasure snack at the office?
um, peanuts? hahaha
If you could choose one superpower as an executive, which would it be?
I would really want to be able to fly. Just the feeling alone seems wonderful, so nice and free. But also seeing everything from above and 'flying' to another city or country. Wonderful.
How would you describe yourself in three words?
Sociable, direct and spontaneous.
