B2B or still H2H?

Written by Marcel Landeweerd

We often get the question whether WebwinkelKeur is also suitable for B2B webshops. For those thinking what is B2B? B2B stands for business-to-business, or sales to businesses, as opposed to B2C (business-to-consumer), sales to consumers.

B2B is people business

The short answer is Yes. We are quite capable ofdistinguishing the legal differences between B2B and B2C. Yet that is not the core of why we are suitable as aB2B label. More importantly, even in B2B sales, people make the decision. Business purchases too are often done by Googling and finding a suitable provider. As with consumer sales, a first impression is important, and business decision-makers look at the reliability of your company. A seal of approval has just as much value for that.

Customer reviews & B2B

Often I hear that a company "has no interest in customer reviews, because they only sell business". Personally, I can't match the two, why would a business customer not fill out a review and why wouldn't I consult reviews when I am doing business orientation? Also customer reviews are just as important for B2B in my opinion.

B2B is also H2H

When selling online, don't think in business-to-business, but in human-to-human. After all, business sales is also human work, perhaps even more so than B2C. In business, I attach much more importance to building a (working) relationship with suppliers than I do as a consumer. In addition to membership in a quality mark or collecting customer reviews, I also advise you as a business seller to put the emphasis on the person. After all, companies don't decide anything, people do."[caption id="attachment_63854" align="aligncenter" width="640"]Ook zakelijke aankopers oriënteren zich onlineBusiness buyers are also orienting themselves online[/caption]
