Colleague of the Month: Lynn!

At WebwinkelKeur, we believe the strength of our team is in the people who make the most of it every day. This month we're highlighting a bright new face: Lynn, our enthusiastic HR and office manager! Whether she's keeping the office running smoothly or guiding colleagues from her HR role - Lynn does it with a good dose of purpose, eagerness to learn and teamwork. And while she's not hot for cheese yet (not even melted!), we all feel pretty meltingly happy to have her there already.

What's a fun fact about yourself that not many colleagues know?
By now it's no secret, but if there's one thing I really don't like, it's cheese. So unfortunately I always skip the sandwiches at the office. And then when I tell people I don't eat cheese, I always get puzzled questions like: "No melted cheese either?" no, no melted cheese either! Secretly, I hope one day I'll start liking it, so I don't have to turn down those sandwiches anymore!

If you could choose a superpower, which would it be and why?
If I could choose a superpower, I would go for teleportation, I think. How convenient would it be to be able to be in any place in the world in a few seconds? No more traffic jams, no more long flights. I think that would be wonderful!

What does your ideal day off look like?
When I have a day off, I love to go into town for lunch, preferably with nice weather. Then to stroll through the city and finish on the terrace with a nice drink and a snack.

What can we wake you up for at night?
I prefer to sleep just fine, but if I have to be woken up for anything, it's the news that our newly-built house is finally ready and we can receive the key. This is something that my boyfriend and I are really looking forward to, so it's okay to disturb my sleep!

What do you enjoy most about your role as HR/office manager?
I like the variety in my work the most. As an office manager, you are involved in many different things, which makes it dynamic and versatile. I also like the fact that I have a lot of freedom in my tasks and that I can cooperate a lot with my colleagues. This comes together in a nice way with my HR tasks. Previously I have always worked in healthcare, so the e-commerce world was completely new to me, but I have absolutely not regretted it for a moment.

How would you describe your work style in three words?
Goal-oriented, eager to learn and collaborative.

What is your first impression of the team and the work atmosphere?
My first impression of the team is incredibly positive. I noticed that the team is extremely committed and that there is a close-knit atmosphere. Everyone welcomed me very well, which made me feel welcome from the beginning. There is a lot of involvement and understanding for each other, which makes it a very nice and safe workplace. As a result, the working atmosphere, despite the hard work, is always relaxed and open. I am happy to be part of this great team!
