With a background in mechanical engineering and physics, Jan has decades of experience in safety-critical systems and fire protection technology.

He held senior roles at international companies such as Philips, Ericsson and Tyco International, working with leading fire safety brands including Zettler, Wormald and Thorn Security.

As former statutory director of Tyco Netherlands, he understands the importance of reliability, compliance and real-world performance in fire safety.
This expertise forms the foundation of DVM International’s EN-certified fire blankets.
